This was a talk with Kessonga. Church Zen Garden
I went with mom to our garden the other day. It's in a church backyard. It's a beautiful scenery. It's isolated from the road and any buildings. But what's kept sort of hidden is a zen garden. The garden was dedicated to those who have passed read a stone that sat at the edge of the garden. What was so beautiful about the garden was that is was peaceful and zen without even trying to be. There were a few wooden benches and painted rocks that read sayings like "serenity" and "faith". The garden wasn't too large and made an oval shape with cobblestones to create a walking trail. I sat on a bench and closed my eyes. There were a few trees in around me and several green shrubs. I felt the wind against me almost like I felt awake. The the breeze was a hug from God. Although there are no good or bad mediation I did enjoy the experience to mediate somewhere new. I'd like to return there soon.
